Our Current Major project is the development of Village based Community Development Centres.

There will be 7 themes linking the concept of village community development centres.

Education in basic numeracy and literacy

Computer training and skills development

Environmental / Pollution issues

Public Health awareness with special emphasis on

HIV/AIDS

Mental health issues

Use of appropriate technology in agricultural /fishing development

Development of community owned cooperative banks

Group and individual counselling on these and other issues

We aim to develop these centres in collaboration with "In Country" centres of expertise such as VSO (Nigeria) and Amaudo Itumbauzo (run by the Methodist Church Nigeria).  More on the background to this project can be found on the other pages of our website.

At first we aim to concentrate our efforts in eastern and southern Nigeria (South South), particularly the Niger delta region and adjacent states such as Abia and Imo.

However, we are desperately short of funds, and any contribution would go an immense way to helping these communities to help themselves.  Please see our feedback page.
